My group for the Music Video

Greetings again! it's now the time to show who I am working with in this project. The last project, I had worked with two other people, and for this project, I will be working with these two people again for this project. Last time, my partners were Maximus and Jibril and both did a great job with their parts for the project. We all decided to work together again since we did a good job last time and also are pretty good friends. I didn't really have anyone else in mind so I agreed to the plan.

In the first project, Maximus had done a great chunk of work and help assist a lot of the plan from the last project. He had done great in acting before and so I feel like he will do great in this music video acting out all the necessary things. We then have Jibril, who also was a good person to help with specific things necessary. Jibril was able to come up with good ideas on how the video should've looked like for the previous project. He had also provided the camera needed and other props, such as the Zephyrhills bottle. For this project, I plan to do more of the editing for the music video since I did pretty good edits on the project I had before.

The name of the song that was decided to be used was "Where'd all the time go" by Dr. Dog. The name is related to the lyrics that the song describes. I've only heard it a bit but it still sounds really nice to listen to in my opinion. Maximus was actually the one to first bring up the song suggestion. Jibril had quickly said yes while I was still thinking about what else was a good song. I had thought so much as to what song to use but couldn't seem to think of a better one to the one suggested. I had really liked the vibe that it gives and overall is a nice song to listen too.

I hope we plan to do good to this song by making a well-put story that gives the same feelings the song does.

Commercial SET!!!

Well, I’ve done it, I’ve finally finished the commercial, along with the help of my group mates.   This was  my first project where I could be creative in my editing skills, adding lots of effects to a commercial.  It took a good chunk of time  and was a bit difficult   to get the scenes and edit the  commercial well enough to be called a commercial. I had fun recording all the scenes my group done, laughing at each mistake we did from each take. I really like how the commercial came out, It looks almost exactly as like me and the other's had thought of making. The hardest part of this project was angling the camera to best put the scene in a good view and also the barrage of people in the background doing their own scenes as well. Editing the first sections!

 Previously, I was able to produce some scenes necessary for the film alone due to my group being unavailable at the time. With the help of my sister, we were able to produce scenes that included the protagonist alone and also scenes that required editing processes. While driving back home after the recordings, I was constantly thinking as to how I would edit each scene, what needed to be modified and what effects would need to be added. As we got home, I jumped off my sister's car and quickly went to my room to retrieve the scenes onto my laptop and search for editing effects required to make the sequence pop out. The main source I used to find some edits that would help this sequence was in YouTube. The first thing I was looking for were some fire effects that could be used for a type of explosion. Time to work, at a Fair????

  It was now the time for me and the others in my group to film the scenes for the music video. Although, there was a tiny problem during this time, Thanksgiving break. Because of Thanksgiving break, it would mean that most of my group and I won't be able to interact with each other and means that filming would have to be done separately for a bit of time. I had thought of a scene which included me going on a Ferris Wheel because of my schedule to go to the Broward County Fair this break. Max was able to go to the fair with me and take all the filming scenes needed. The first scene that was filmed at the fair was the beginning of the entrance to the fair. It was somewhat of a pan shot/side shot in which I was facing the entrance to the big fair. The first take was messed up due to the lighting of the background being too dark but was then later fixed.
