AICE Media Studies

  September 28th was our first day of actually starting to film for our commercial project! The props that I had to bring for today's recording was, sadly, a Dasani bottle of water. My job for filming was to actually hold the camera and set the angles up for each shot. Since I'll be doing most of the edits, and also not liking being put in the spot, I decided to film both Max and Jibril and their "amazing" acting skills. So first off, I had to set the camera quality to be the best it could be and not be very pixelated that way the commercial would look clean. I had to use Jibril's phone since his had the best quality of video out of all of our phones. For our first scene, I had stood near the bleachers in order to pan the jogging that Max had to act. After some takes, I had finally got the good take and then started to set up the next scene. In this scene, I had to do a similar pan shot to the first but I had to also move the angle back to where the spot that Max

  Scene 1:  Max is running on the school track in athletic clothing. The  sun's  heat is blazing down on him. Scene 2:  Max starts to run slower on the track. Hes full of sweat and very dehydrated. Hes craving something to drink. Scene 3:  Max pulls a bottle of Dasani water out from his backpack. He chugs it but immediately spits it out. He looks at the bottle with disgust on  his face, seeing that it is Dasani. Scene 4:  Max  throws the bottle of Dasani water in the trash because of the disgusting taste.  Suddenly he  sees a flash of light  and looks  at  the sky. Scene 5:   He sees  G od flying down with something in his hand. “ Hello  my son, this is for you.” Then  God  hands  M aximus the holy water, the  Zephyr hill s  water.  while God is speaking to Max there is some choir music playing in the background.   Scene 6:   G o d   f lies away and Maximus  immediately  starts to  chug  the Zephyrhills water.  The n   the  camera zooms out and the logo fades in.

  Props: Me and my group are making a Zephyrhills commercial so the props we will use are a Zephyrhills bottle and a Dasani bottle (the rival brand). Costumes: Max is going to be in an athletic costume since he will be running on the track, Jibril will be wearing all white since he will be playing God. Schedule: Research on Zephyrhills commercials and advertisements –September 22 th Our group will plan the story and plan how we will film the commercial –September 22th Our group creates the storyboard –September 28th Our group will film the commercial –October 8th Our group will edit and add finishing touches to the commercial - Sometime after October 9th Location: Our main location is on the track and field. At the track and field, we are going to film our two actors completing the scenes. Since the sun is shining straight on to the track it will be hot, and water would be good for the commercial. My group is doing a Zephyrhills commercial, in the commercials there are usually  water springs and actors enjoying the water.   In Zephyrhills commercials people usually see actors drinking water or camera shots of Florida springs.   Props include  Zephyrhills   water bottles,  water springs, and lots of trees.   The appearance of the springs and actors are usually calm and enjoying a bottle of water.   The music in the commercials is soothing and giving a slow-paced  vibe ,  similar to  how the water  flows  from the springs.     The founder of the city Zephyrhills wanted a name as clear as the water there . That is  why he named it  Zephyrhills   so people would know that they are getting gentle breezes and rolling hills. The Slogan is the city of pure water which  shows that  Zephyrhills   the  purest and most delicious water.   In the commercial it shows videos of springs and pure water before showing the Zephyrhills logo so you can tell that it is a Zephyrhills commercial before

 Hey there viewer, this is my group blog where I talk about me and group that are going to work on our Media Studies commercial project! To start off, my name is Andy Hernandez and I'm a Sophomore, working with two of my friends who I had recently met this school year. For this project, I hope to work as the editor for the group since I want to see what editing skills I can come up with. These guys were my first buddies that I made friends with when I came to the school and so I decided to work with them for this project. My first mate is Maximus, he is Sophomore like me. I had first talked to him in this class actually, when we were waiting outside, I had come up to him saying "Hey I think I remember you from online class". I talk about how we both had Global Perspectives class last year and so we decided to chill in class together when we got in. After that encounter, we just instantly became buddies. We would have fun in study hall by playing some cards or online games

  Hello! my name is Andy Hernandez-Vazquez and this is my introduction to you on my new blog! For starters, My interest are exercising, playing video games, and spending time with my family. I am a Sophomore this school year at Fort Lauderdale and also a middle child of my family. I have two sisters, the first is my younger sibling who has recently started going to my old elementary school. My second sister, who graduated from this school, Madelinne, has started her first year in college this year! I love both of them. I also tend to watch a good amount of shows but I mostly watch Anime. A lot of my favorite shows are Animes that I've been binging, my most favorite show being Black Clover. Currently in school, I've made a great amount of friends and also met cool teachers that are chill. My favorite subject would be Comm. Tech II since I'm learning about Premiere Pro this year while my least favorite would have to be chemistry since I am very bad at science. I am in the Cam
