First a Fair, Now a Park???
What a relaxing Thanksgiving break, it felt as if I were in heaven, feeling so comfy on my bed and laying down nice. But, as always, all good things must come to an end, and so, Thanksgiving break was quickly over. It was great to have time to relax a bit from school, but now, I have to work my butt out during filming in the next coming days, I told myself. So, during the next weekend that came by, I worked on the remaining scenes that needed to be recorded.
The scenes needed to be recorded had to be filmed at a park, so I had to ride my bike from my house to the park since my parents were not home that day. I was also alone for this time so I needed to also bring a camera stick that could be able to angle the scenes of the video.
The first scene I had done was the opening scene, in which I would enter the video by riding my bike forward. Oh boy, let me tell you, this took way longer that I expected, I counted at least 6 takes til I got a scene that I had rather the most. I was kind of getting worried for the remaining scenes to be filmed, but I had no other choice, I had to do this.
The next scene was a medium shot in which I had to ride my bike through the side walk and then faced forward for another scene. This time, I had to angle the camera the best it could be in order for the scene to come out perfect. Once I got the angle I needed, after about 10 tries setting up, I lifted my bike up and rode my bike. This took about 3 tries to get a good scene, heck, I also had a little accident by almost falling off my bicycle.
Afterwards, the other scene needed a front view in which I would stop my bicycle and then would have to look at a specific thing from across. The camera angle didn't take as long as before and so I was able to record smoothly this time. It took about 2 tries to get a decent scene, I mostly didn't like the first one due to my weird face expression.
The scene before was important for the next because I then would have a first person view where I would be looking at the park thats across me, feeling somewhat of nostalgia from it. This scene was pretty simple and I was able to use the camera angle to keep the position in a straight position that wasn't shaky.
Extra scenes:
These scenes are in a specific section because they are special to the film and the editing part. The first scene in this section is the "past scene" where I would have "young-youth" clothing and also be playing at the park. This is important to the story from the music video because it'll be apart of the message about the past and how much people have grown and get frustrated later on in life. This last scene filmed was an extra one, in which It would be me sitting and reenacting the Ferris wheel scene due to the poor acting that I was late to realize. In the editing part of the music video, I plan to try and greenscreen this scene into the Ferris wheel in order to make the video more better.
There are still some scenes missing, such as some of the last ones, but I plan to film those before editing phase. Just wait until you see this music video!
