Time to starting filming!

As I finish researching the music and sound tracks that'll be used for the sequence, I think to myself "dang, it's really almost time to start the filming process.." The next day after my research, I discuss to my groupmates what the plan would be to starting filming the scenes. They all seemed to be busy and unavailable to record at this period of time, so I decided to make a plan that could start the sequence. I decided that, since I'm part of the lead role, that I would record the scenes I needed where I would appear. Since it'll just be me, most of these scenes would either be me alone in them or I would call on the aid of any other friends or family that could help me. Everyone in the group agreed with my plan and so it was decided that I would start to film the scenes the next day. That time had finally arrived, I had asked my sister to drive me to the spot of the ally, where the beginning scenes would take place.

To record these scenes, I was able to ask my sister for help, telling her how each camera angle needed to be in each specific scene. She had agreed to help me and was very helpful in recording the angles for each scene that I would be working on for this first day. The first scene would be pretty easy to record, I told my sister to create a tilt shot where the angle would move up to me walking through the ally way. While doing this scene, I also needed to say my dialogue that will start the story of this sequence, this scene in general took around 5 tries to get a good shot. Scene 2 is a special case for the sequence, I would need to use a specific spot in the ally way in other to get the shot necessary. The reason for the specific spot is to get a type of greenscreen effect where the color of the background would disappear and then other necessary parts of the scene would be added during the editing phase. This scene took about 6 times until I was able to get the perfect scene that would be balanced for the editing. This one was a bit harder due to my sister needing to aim carefully and also for me to fit in the frame as perfect as I could to create the effect of the scene. The next scene I decided to film was scene 4, since it was just me at the time acting alone. Since there was a store nearby, I got important props necessary for scenes like this, for example, the bottle of soda needed for this scene. My sister had positioned the camera to a shoulder-shot view that would get the scene of both the drinking shot and dialogue. This took 4 tries this time, this scene didn't take as long as I thought it would've been, considering I suck at acting out. Since it was getting pretty late during the day, I decided to quickly rush and record scenes 9-11. These scenes would be the protagonist losing their item at the store they left once they had gotten their drink from before. Me and my sister took 3 shots for each scene quickly, deciding that I would later picked them out at home where I would choose the best shots for each scene. I ended the day by picking and reviewing which of each shots would I want to use for scenes 9, 10, and 11.
