Song Title: Where'd All The Time Go?

By Dr. Dog, an American rock band based in Philadelphia. For a song made around the early 2010s, it was really catchy and the sounds give a very happy nostalgia to listeners through the lyrics used.

Props: the props that are going to be used are for things that made entertainment back then such as drawing with chalk, playing with a jump rope, and bikes

Costumes: Clothing that would be used is the type of clothes people wore back in the early 2000s.

Schedule:

  • Music video researching about the similar genre - November 12
  • Group will plan what story will be narrated and what props and settings are used - November 16
  • Planning the music video scenes with storyboarding - November 19
  • Our group will film the music video scenes - Sometime around after November 20 to December 9
  • Editing of the music video such as effects and lyrics - Sometime around after November 20 to December 9
  • Music Video completed - December 13
Locations: The locations that our music video will use are parks, the beach, streets, food stops. riding bikes on the street

Backup Plan:
  • Props - use different items that remind of the past time
  • Location - If one location isn't available, then another scene would be needed (planned backups are camping sites, pool hangouts, the fair, house)

Editing Blog: Time to Edit Scenes!

October 6th, This was the first day that me and the group had to edit the commercial. In class, I couldn't really edit any scenes since the laptops had run pretty slow and so I worked on my blog first. I had told the others about a plan on how I would first make a raw video with just the cuts of the scenes to match together. One of my group members had put all the scenes in a google drive so I was able to get the clips to use to edit home. At home, I joined the group call to let the others know that I had started to edit the scenes and how it would look. To edit, I was going to use the program that I use for all the videos I edit, Shotcut. My groupmates have never heard of it and so they wanted references as to what I have edited in the program. Research blog: Commercial Conventions

My group is doing a Zephyrhills commercial, in the commercials there are usually  water springs and actors enjoying the water.   In Zephyrhills commercials people usually see actors drinking water or camera shots of Florida springs.   Props include  Zephyrhills   water bottles,  water springs, and lots of trees.   The appearance of the springs and actors are usually calm and enjoying a bottle of water.   The music in the commercials is soothing and giving a slow-paced  vibe ,  similar to  how the water  flows  from the springs.     The founder of the city Zephyrhills wanted a name as clear as the water there . That is  why he named it  Zephyrhills   so people would know that they are getting gentle breezes and rolling hills.
