Wait, who am I going to work with?

    Now then, it’s time to talk about my groupmates that will help me with this final task. I’ve decided to work with a group for this final task because I feel as if I’m able to get more work done with others to help with each aspect of filming. I’ve decided to work with my favorite two people, that I have also worked with in the past, who are Maximus and Jibril.

Throughout the past, I’ve been able to work well and efficiently with both of these two because of their support throughout working. I’ve been able to enjoy their company ever since the first project done together, with both of them doing their best to help make the film better. I will now introduce both of them one-by-one to see what their personalities are and what type of person they are.

I will start off with Maximus, he was my very first friend that I made when I first arrived at Fort Lauderdale High. When I first met him, he was a chill dude and also a funny guy to joke around with. We are both Sophomores this current year and have two classes together. He’s a good help when it comes to giving out convention ideas for the films made. He’s also been a good actor before in previous projects. During class time, when we were informed about the final task, I went up to him and asked if he wanted to work on this project. He agreed to work together, I'm excited to see what we can do this time for this project.

Our other partner for this final task was Jibril, another close friend of mine, and Maximus. Us three have been working on many projects since the beginning of this class and it made sense to bring in Jibril with us. He had come up to me, asking if he could join me and Maximus for this final task and I told him “sure!”. In the previous project, Jibril was a marvelous actor that was able to provide great acting skills from afar. At the beginning of school, Jibril wasn’t present until the very first project, in which he was forced into our group. I was notified of this the day I returned to school and was chill with it. I later met him in the class and we hit it off great. I’m very excited to work with both of these people for the final task and we’ve also decided on a group name, The OG’s.

Commercial SET!!!

Well, I’ve done it, I’ve finally finished the commercial, along with the help of my group mates.   This was  my first project where I could be creative in my editing skills, adding lots of effects to a commercial.  It took a good chunk of time  and was a bit difficult   to get the scenes and edit the  commercial well enough to be called a commercial. I had fun recording all the scenes my group done, laughing at each mistake we did from each take. I really like how the commercial came out, It looks almost exactly as like me and the other's had thought of making. The hardest part of this project was angling the camera to best put the scene in a good view and also the barrage of people in the background doing their own scenes as well. Editing the first sections!

 Previously, I was able to produce some scenes necessary for the film alone due to my group being unavailable at the time. With the help of my sister, we were able to produce scenes that included the protagonist alone and also scenes that required editing processes. While driving back home after the recordings, I was constantly thinking as to how I would edit each scene, what needed to be modified and what effects would need to be added. As we got home, I jumped off my sister's car and quickly went to my room to retrieve the scenes onto my laptop and search for editing effects required to make the sequence pop out. The main source I used to find some edits that would help this sequence was in YouTube. The first thing I was looking for were some fire effects that could be used for a type of explosion. Time to work, at a Fair????

  It was now the time for me and the others in my group to film the scenes for the music video. Although, there was a tiny problem during this time, Thanksgiving break. Because of Thanksgiving break, it would mean that most of my group and I won't be able to interact with each other and means that filming would have to be done separately for a bit of time. I had thought of a scene which included me going on a Ferris Wheel because of my schedule to go to the Broward County Fair this break. Max was able to go to the fair with me and take all the filming scenes needed. The first scene that was filmed at the fair was the beginning of the entrance to the fair. It was somewhat of a pan shot/side shot in which I was facing the entrance to the big fair. The first take was messed up due to the lighting of the background being too dark but was then later fixed.
